Description

Everything you need to get started with an AJAX wireless intruder alarm, all installed at a time to suit you. This is the latest starter kit which includes the new Hub2 and MotionCam. 

Once you’re up and running, the AJAX system is incredibly simple to use and manage straight from your smartphone (iOS and Android apps are available. The AJAX system is also very easy to upgrade if you wish to expand it at a later date. In fact it’s so simple, you can probably add new devices yourself, but we will always be here to help if needed.

Hub2

In control of security, not your private life…

Hub 2 manages all the Ajax devices in the system to alert users about open doors, broken windows, threats of fire and flooding. If burglars break into your house, Hub 2 transmits pictures from the MotionCam detectors and notifies the alarm response company about the danger. You won’t need to live under the constant supervision of the security cameras to know what’s going on.

Stress-free

The motion detectors react to dangerous situations as well as simple oversights. A nanny may bring the children home from the school and forget to disable the security system, which will raise an alarm. Always in touch

Hub 2 uses Ethernet or one of the 2 SIM cards to guarantee the delivery of the alarms and photos from the secured objects. The channels work in parallel and back each other up in case of emergency.

Compression and transmission protocols guarantee lightning — fast delivery of the photo series even with weak Internet connectivity. Unlike with the video camera streams, with Ajax, you can evaluate the situation on the secured objects at the 0.5 kB/s Internet speed.

Trouble resistant

With Hub 2, you’ll know immediately if the detector has a malfunction, if someone removed it, if it is damaged, or if its body is open. Even if the lights suddenly go out, the control panel will continue its watch powered by a back-up battery.

Evolves with every software update

Hub 2 runs on OS Malevich, a real-time operating system. This type of software is used in the systems that can’t afford mistakes — for instance, spaceships and ballistic rocket launchers, or car brakes.

OS Malevich is immune to viruses and protected from cyber attacks. Its architecture allows us to regularly expand the Ajax possibilities over the air within seconds and without bothering the users.

Unique communication technologies

Jeweller Hub 2 central panel communicates with the security system devices using radio frequencies on a distance of up to 2000 m. Two-way Jeweller radio protocol encrypts all of the transmitted data. And in cases of interference or jamming, Ajax switches the frequency and notifies you as well as the alarm response company about the situation. Wings For parallel visual data transmission from MotionCams, Hub  2 uses Ajax Wings radio protocol. It is a high-speed protocol based on Jeweller technology. Wings received its best features. It also uses a separate antenna to improve channel reliability.   Wings guarantees the delivery of photo confirmations even if the signal level is unstable. With MotionCam, you’ll know about the actual situation at home even before the burglars understand that they’re busted. An animated series of photos follows the instant motion detection alarm for an accurate situation appraisal.

Prevents unnecessary disturbance 

A nanny came back from the store and forgot to disarm the security system. The alarm went off, but the parents were calm. MotionCam has made a series of pictures to reveal the cause.

The burglars broke in at night. Thanks to the IR backlight, their faces were apparent on the MotionCam pictures. The police patrol caught the burglars in the act. 

Engineered to respect privacy

MotionCam is designed to control your security, not your personal life. The motion detector is unable to take pictures by request. The camera activates only in response to a motion detection alarm. The data is encrypted throughout the processes of transmission and storage. No one analyzes it, even the AI. You won’t need to live under the constant supervision of the security cameras to know why the alarm went off.

Dispels any suspicions

MotionCam ignores pets (up to 50 cm in height) using the SmartDetect algorithm. But if an especially curious pet manages to set off the alarm, the following photo report will confirm that the house is safe. 

Unique communication technologies

MotionCam simultaneously uses two specialized radio protocols: Jeweller for sending instantaneous alarms and Wings for rapid image delivery. You’ll receive the first snapshot of the event within 9 seconds from the motion detection. As usual, the alarm notification will arrive in a split of a second, even if the signal is unstable.

You can set up MotionCam at a distance of up to 1700 meters from the hub to establish visual control of the most critical areas. The new detector features a record-breaking operating efficiency with up to 4 years of battery life.

Intuitive to pair and install

MotionCam connects to the Ajax security system in a few taps. Open the Ajax app, scan the QR code, and assign the detector to one of the rooms.

Mount the detector on a wall without disassembling. Make sure that no vases, wardrobes, or glass objects are blocking its view angle. You’re all set!

DoorProtect

Wireless opening detector that notifies first signs of room intrusion by means of a broken door or window. It can be mounted on all types of doors including a metal base.

Principle of operation

The device detects the door or window being opened by means of British-made hi-end reed switches on which the magnetic field acts. It can operate in the transmitter mode, sending a signal from the wired sensor to the hub.

The device consists of two modules — detector and magnet. The set includes two magnets: the big magnet is installed at a distance of up to 2 cm, and the small magnet up to 1 cm.

Keypad

Wireless touch keypad is used for arming/disarming of Ajax security systems. It is mounted in the room near the entrance door to provide quick access to the keypad.

Principle of operation

The device operates security modes when a digital code is entered on the keypad. Indication notifies of current security status, problems with detectors or breakdown of communication with the hub.

Alarm button is available. It notifies of each attempt to guess the password and blocks automatically if the permissible number of entries is exceeded.

StreetSiren

Wireless outdoor siren that notifies of danger using sound and light. The device is installed outside the room to raise an alarm for everyone to hear.

Principle of operation

The device notifies of detector activation with an audible alarm and LED. Sound level and alarm length are set in the mobile application.

The device has IP54 dust and moisture protection. 12 V DC external power supply can be connected, if necessary. The built-in accelerometer will raise the alarm if an attempt is made to remove the siren.

Wireless indoor siren that loudly notifies of an alarm during detector activation. It is installed indoors to warn of danger or deter intruders.

Principle of operation

The device notifies of detector activation with an audible alarm. Sound level and alarm length are set in the mobile application.

Connector for external LED is available. It can be mounted outside your apartment or office to monitor the security system status.
